Varlion Classic is introduced to the media and opens a new era for the brand

The company, with its own factory in Madrid for more than two decades, presents its new stage with a distinctive proposition: complete transparency about where each product range is manufactured.

Varlion Classic held its first official press conference on June 29, marking the public launch of its new phase. The event, held at Club de Pádel La Masó in front of specialist padel media and the general sports press, brought together the brand’s founder and CEO, Teresita García, along with her management team, to present what the relaunch consists of and what sets it apart from other offerings in today’s padel market.

The brand was founded in Argentina in 1993 and moved its production to Spain more than two decades ago. Since then, the Madrid factory has handcrafted the brand’s high-end rackets, including the Lethal Weapon Carbon 3, one of the best-selling rackets in the history of padel in Spain. Varlion Classic is the direct continuation of that project: the same factory, the same team, and a radically different way of relating to the industry.

During the presentation, Teresita García outlined the three pillars of the new phase: the human team with decades of experience in artisanal manufacturing; in-house premium production, entirely handmade in Spain; and transparency and honesty as the guiding principle in the relationship with players, coaches, clubs, and distributors.

Declaring the manufacturing origin by range is one of the most distinctive elements of the proposal. Varlion Classic openly states where each product line is produced: the premium range is entirely handcrafted in the company’s own Madrid factory —with an authenticity code certifying it— while the mid-range and entry-level ranges are produced in China. A commitment to transparency that the brand presents as an obligation, not a marketing argument.

“We preserve the craft and change the way things are done.” — Teresita García, CEO and Founder of Varlion Classic.

That craft has specific names and hands behind it. The factory’s master mold maker has worked at Varlion since 1998 and was the one who made the first Lethal Weapon Carbon 3. A large part of the production team has more than fifteen years of experience in the same factory. “Varlion is my home, my child, and my legacy. The brand is built through people: if there is no team, there is no brand,” Teresita said during the presentation.
