The Mayor of the city, Jesús Julio Carnero, officially presented the tournament, which will once again turn Plaza Mayor into the Monaco Grand Prix of world padel from June 21 to 28.
The Recoletos area will expand its capacity to more than 1,200 seats and will feature
an additional court.
Valladolid, March 20, 2026 – The Oysho Valladolid Premier Padel P2 has officially presented its 2026 edition and launched season ticket sales for one of the most iconic events on the international calendar.
From June 21 to 28, Valladolid will once again become the center of the world’s best padel with a unique tournament model that integrates sport, city, and spectacle in the heart of the urban landscape, transforming Plaza Mayor, Santiago, and Recoletos into the epicenter of global padel.
Season tickets are already available across clubs in the city and northern Spain, with a 20% discount valid until April 5.
The presentation took place at Valladolid City Hall with key figures including regional and national sports authorities, federation presidents, organizers, and Carolina Navarro, a legend of the sport and ambassador of the official brand JOMA.
Mayor Carnero highlighted the uniqueness of the event as the only tournament played in a city’s main square, comparing it to Monaco in Formula 1, and noted an economic impact of over €10.5 million.
The tournament will be broadcast in more than 120 countries, reaching over 19 million viewers, with more than 50% of attendees coming from outside the city.
The 2026 edition will once again gather the world’s best players, including Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia in the men’s draw, and Gemma Triay and Delfina Brea leading the women’s competition.
This year also marks a historic milestone: 20 years of professional padel in Valladolid, consolidating the city as a unique and iconic stop on the global circuit.
In terms of infrastructure, the event will feature four official courts, including the central court in Plaza Mayor and three additional courts in Recoletos, increasing accessibility and fan engagement.
The tournament remains unique worldwide as the only one played in a main city square, combining sport, tourism, and entertainment, and reaching audiences in over 130 countries.
Ticket sales began on March 20, with special perks including discounts, guaranteed seating, and exclusive prize draws, including a signed jersey by world number one Arturo Coello.
Valladolid now begins the countdown to one of the most symbolic editions in its sporting history.
