PARIS WELCOMES THE EUROPEAN DEAF PADEL CIRCUIT WITH 200 PLAYERS FROM 21 COUNTRIES

The third event of the season will take place from October 2–4 at Casa Padel Croissy-Beaubourg, ahead of the season finale in Seville.

PARIS. The European Deaf Padel Circuit 2026 arrives in Paris. From October 2–4, 200 players from 21 countries will compete at Casa Padel Croissy-Beaubourg in the third event of a season that will conclude in Seville on November 20–21.

After the tournaments in Milan and Cologne, the rankings are beginning to shape the draws, although the first two events have already shown that being a top seed does not guarantee a place in the final.

The competition features seven categories: Platinum, Gold and Silver women; and Platinum, Gold, Silver A and Silver B men.

Álvarez and Rancel chase a third title

In Men’s Platinum, Denis Álvarez arrives in Paris after winning the first two events of the season. He claimed the Milan title with Juan Jesús Pérez before winning again in Cologne alongside Javier Sánchez.

Álvarez and Sánchez will remain together in Paris and enter as the No. 1 seeds, with 1,465 points. They will face Thomas Figliuzzi and Alejandro Abadía in the quarter-finals. French pairing Nicolas Lanfranchi and Maxime Sanchez are the No. 2 seeds.

In Men’s Gold, Gabriel Heriberto Rancel also has two titles this season. He won in Milan with Antonio Jesús Rabaneda and in Cologne alongside Brandan Brunet. In Paris, Rancel will reunite with Rabaneda, while Brunet will partner Alexandre Gabriele.

Women’s Platinum wide open

The Women’s Platinum category arrives in Paris without a clear dominant pairing. Marta Rodríguez and Raquel Pitarch won in Milan, while Manon Mallieu and Sylvie Moustahsine took the title in Cologne.

For the third event, the Cologne champions will split up. Moustahsine will partner Céline Cornia as the No. 1 seeds, while Mallieu will play alongside Stine Walter. Both pairings are in the same half of the draw and could meet in the semi-finals.

Maria Luisa Monica and Klara Miletic are the No. 2 seeds.

The ranking does not guarantee the title

The first two events have also produced several surprises.

In Men’s Silver A, Pedro Frigola and Eloy Arrabal won in Milan without being seeded. In Cologne, Frédéric Deweerdt and Maarten Lami claimed the title after eliminating the No. 1 seeds.

In the women’s competition, Vanessa Krieg and Lisa Wolke won Gold in Cologne without being among the top two seeds, while Zita Mészáros and Neringa Gulbinskaite won Silver in Milan.

Paris will once again put the rankings to the test.

415 players have competed in the circuit

The first three events of the 2026 circuit account for 818 entries from 415 different players. Of these, 233 have competed in more than one event, while 46 are registered for all four tournaments of the season.

Milan attracted 222 participants, Cologne 190 and Paris will welcome 200.

“You can get someone to come once; getting them to want to come back is something else. That is what we want to keep building,” says Pilar Moreno, President of European Deaf Padel.

Results from each event contribute points to the EDP Ranking. Seeds are determined using the ranking at the close of registration, combining the points of both players in each pairing. Players can change partners between tournaments, meaning the composition of the draws can change throughout the season.
