The universe of the 20×10 court dresses up once again. PadelSpain, one of the leading specialized newspapers in the sector, announces a new edition of the PadelSpain World Padel Awards (PWPA), the longest-standing and most independent awards in this sport.
Since their creation, these awards have not only celebrated sporting success, but have also paid tribute to all the pillars that sustain the unstoppable growth of padel: from racket technology to social initiatives and the management of the world’s best clubs.
What are these awards about?
The PadelSpain World Padel Awards were created with a clear objective: to give a voice to the protagonists and, above all, to the fans. Unlike other recognitions, these awards stand out for their democratic and global nature, becoming a true barometer of who is who in the professional and amateur padel industry.
Categories: Recognizing excellence
To cover every angle of the sector, the awards are divided into categories that reward talent, innovation and effort. The final nominees are selected by an Advisory Committee made up of experts in the sport: journalists, content creators, former professional players, coaches, national team selectors, and company executives.
This year, a total of 15 categories will be awarded: Player and Female Player of the Year, Breakthrough Player and Female Breakthrough Player, Best Coach, Best Racket, Best Ball, Best Shoe, Best Club, Best Professional Tournament, Best Amateur Circuit, Padel Solidarity Award, Best Communication Project, Greatest Innovation and Best Point. In addition, the media outlet grants an Honorary Recognition to a key figure in the sport.
The voting process: You have the power
The prestige of these awards lies in their selection system, which combines expert judgment with the passion of the fans.
An Expert Committee chosen by the newspaper selects the final candidates in each category based on objective merits and performance throughout the season.
Once the nominees are published, the voting period opens on the official awards website. Thousands of fans from all over the world cast their votes to choose their favorites.

The Grand Awards Gala
The crowning moment of the PadelSpain World Padel Awards is the Awards Gala, a live event that brings together the elite of the sport: players, brand executives, media and key industry figures, on this occasion under the umbrella of the Hexagon Cup at the end of January.
There, the International Padel Media Association will play a key role, becoming an institutional partner alongside the PPA, the Professional Padel Coaches Association and the Hexagon Cup. In addition, Greenset, Taykus and Padel Rivals are the event sponsors, with The Imagine House as the organizing company.
