Ben Hanley is a UK-based padel coach, content creator, and Royal Air Force officer, was the sole driving force behind the growth of padel within the UK Armed Forces. Through personal initiative, persistence, and sustained collaboration, he has led the introduction and expansion of padel across military communities in the UK and overseas.

As the founder of UK Armed Forces Padel, Ben has worked independently to connect service personnel, bases, governing bodies, and industry partners—often building momentum from the ground up with no formal structure or precedent. His approach combines operational leadership, grassroots development, and credible content creation to establish padel as both a competitive sport and a community-building platform within the armed forces.

Alongside his military role, Ben creates English-language padel content focused on coaching, equipment insight, and the realities of growing the sport in emerging markets. He has worked with organisations including Hexagon Cup, GreenSet, Moonshot Padel, Siux, Palair, and The Court Project, and continues to focus on growing padel with purpose—through relentlessness, collaboration, and long-term vision.
